With quite a hangover we took the Marschrutka (minibus) in the direction of Okatse Canyon – in Choni a taxi driver took us to Zeda Gordi, a small, remote village with only a couple of houses. The first guy we met was a tour guide named Davit. He organized our guesthouse for us with a lovely georgian-italian couple. We had lots of time to relax on the balcony, play with their dog Jessi and the house cat. One day we went for a walk in the Dadiani Forest-Park and a cute stray dog accompanied us. A little farther away we heard a man yelling something in Georgian. As we came closer we saw that he tried to get some help. A cow lay on the side in a small riverbed, the sides were quite steep and she couldn’t get up by herself. Felix did not hesitate for long time and went down to the river to help the man. Together with another Georgian they pulled the cow by the horns and tail out of the water. Everyone was happy and the men thanked Felix for his commitment. From now on he is a Georgian hero. With wet shoes Felix and I went back home for dinner.
Besides this little adventure we made some excursions to the waterfalls of Kinchkha, walked the footpath of Okatse Canyon and did an odd, small boat trip at Martvili Canyon.
Enjoy the pictures!

Felt like being at Felix’ grandmas home.
